Nick Valensi is actually pretty like a girl. Seriously. When looking at pictures of Nick Valensi, I am often struck by how overpoweringly FEMMEY the man is, but at the same time, the jawline? The cheekbones? The absurdly tall, lanky body? Never ever gonna get him mistaken for a girl. Thus, he is the perfect man-pretty. He also has a tendency to occasionally look rather awkward, which is endearing! Post the second in my valiant mission to make more Strokes icons than anybody else on GJ. Whoo.
A lot of the icons featuring Nick and someone else? Also in other Strokes posts. So don’t mind the repeats, this is just my way of making sure someone who only wants one Stroke doesn’t have to look through all the Strokes icon posts to find as many icons as humanly possible. I have already done that. I am a God. Give me your money.
Also, I apologize for varying quality/occasionally very dubious cropping jobs and near-doubles of very arguable necessity. A lot of the Strokes icons were made in the wee hours of the morning, or when I hadn’t slept in over 24 hours, and as such, my Strokes love tended to outweigh my aesthetic sensibilities on occasion. Most of them are fine, though.
Oh, right. As to 171 and 172: if you happened to want a Nick Valensi icon that says “buttsex” or, for reasons even more baffling, “Ludovic,” I’ve got you covered. Otherwise, feel free to ignore them. They’re there for posterity’s sake, and also, because the character for whom they were made, I suspect, would find the idea of everyone looking at icons of him holding up little “Ludovic” and “buttsecks” signs incredibly appealing, for many a reason.
